About Us

It started in the summer of 2015 as we watched a group of men estalishing the 100 Men Who Give A Damn - Saskatoon Chapter.  Shortly after that we began discussing the possibility of a women's chapter and got serious in the new year.   We held our inaugural meeting on May 2, 2016 and currently have over 250 members.

What is 100 Women Who Care???

100+ Women Who Care first originated in November 2006 by Karen Dunigan of Jackson, MI.  Her group of 100+ women raised $12,800 at their very first meeting to buy 300 new baby cribs for an organization in their city.

The concept is simple …. It is a grassroots mobilization of fundraising for community-focused impact.  We are not a registered charity, non-profit organization or a club.  100 Women Who Care Saskatoon is simply a group of volunteer facilitators who provide networking events to bring together caring, giving women to make an immediate, direct and positive effect on the lives of our neighbors.  We meet four times a year and donate $100 each to one of the three charitable organizations the group has chosen to support each time…..

100 women X $100 = $10,000 each meeting!
